i so strongly feel that i m suffering from IAD (Internet Addiction Disorder). lol.

well under the proposed diagnostic criteria, i'll apply for 1, 3, 4 & 5.

1. Tolerance, as defined by either of the following:
- A need for markedly increased amounts of time on Internet to achieve satisfaction.
- Markedly diminished effect with continued use of the same amount of time on Internet.

3. Internet is often accessed more often or for longer periods of time than was intended, causing the untreated addict to neglect responsibilities at work and the needs of the family at home.

4. There is a persistent desire or unsuccessful efforts to cut down or control Internet use.

5. A great deal of time is spent in activities related to Internet use.


& tt's lyk 4 out of the 8 criterions. O.o oh wadeva!



ok now tt was juz sum random issue..

talk abt TODAY...

went to skl at ard 9.40 to claim my Hp back. then i headed to tanah merah MRT stn n waited there for my dad. basically it's coz he was supposed to bring me to sum ENT(Ear, Nose & Throat) specialist.

sum background info... my ears r always giving me problems. when i was 3, i had an ache in my right ear n visited the specialist once. the doctor said sumting bout my ear producing too much wax or sumting lyk tt, n there was sum buildup of it.. yea.. (n how do i even rmb tt? well it's coz i visited the same ENT specialist today, n they still haf the record. can u believe tt? it's been 12 years since then..) so tt was the long time ago issue. more recently, my LEFT ear has been suffering from pain if external pressure is added, either into the ear or juz even outside n below the ear.. tried to remove the object that was in the ear, but it juz far too painful. (i thot it could haf been a tumour. LOL)

so today, my parents decided to bring me to a specialist to solve the problem. carrying on from my wait at the mrt... alighted at city hall mrt n walked to Wilmer clinic (or sumting lyk tt) waited very long for my turn. zzzzzzzz...

n finally, my name was called! =D entered the doc's room n he asked wad was wrong with me.. told him bout the pain in my left ear n sumhow my dad said sum other tings n he told us the records of my visit 12 yrs ago. yep. he's a funny doctor. or shud i say friendly? lol. coz he was always laughing for no apparent reason (lyk over my records??). but in tt way he was really nice n easy to communicate with. his assistant/nurse was the real funny 1. she speaks really quickly, lyk a bullet train. lol.

so the doc had to take a look at wad was in my ear. i became very nervous, the reason being that i seriously cannot stand the feeling of any object in my ear. even the ear thermometer makes me feel uncomfortable.. so the doc took a look into my right ear, said it looked great. then came the left ear. the moment he look in, he saw the wax, thus he brought me into another room for sum microscopy ting to remove the wax.

it was freaky man.. i knew he was goin to insert sumting into my ear to remove the wax. i lay on the "bed" n the doc used the scope to look into my ear. cool ting was tt i could c the screen, which was actually the enlarged image of the inside of my ear. uncool ting was tt i did not wear my specs n couldn't see clearly. =_= finally, he was goin to remove the wax. it was terrible. the 1st time the equipment went in n got hold of the wax, i went "OUCH! ah.. ah.." with a very tensed body.. n so he removed a peanut-sized piece of hardened wax. phew! wad a relief. n when i thot it was over, the doc said that there was more wax in my ear. o.O n i saw it for myself as well.. so in it went, for the 2nd time.. this time it was much much worse.. i could feel the equipment got hold of the wax, then PULLING it out. "OUCH! AH! AH AH AH! ow.." then it stopped. however the wax was still inside. so came the 3rd entry, which felt the worst out of all. the pain felt as if a part of my body was being forcefully pulled out... at tt time i really thot my eardrum was gonna come out tgt with the wax. but the wax still did not come out! so there was the 4th, 5th n 6th entry.. T.T but all of it was not as bad as the 3rd... & when the BIGGER 2nd peanut-sized piece of wax eventually came out, my ear felt so open n my hearing for tt ear was lyk superb. i could even hear the wind.. lol.

wth that was lyk totally expensive. gosh... i feel so bad for my parents...


aft tt i followed my dad to Funan the IT mall... well i've got totally no interest in all tt gizmo n technology stuff, so i was practically dying frm boredom...

came home at ard 1.40pm. my day officially ended. LMAO. XD



i've gotta quit this addiction...
