ow... ouch... PAIN!

PAIN. tt's 1 of the BIGGEST ting yest left me with...
so yest was NATIONAL PIONEERING COMPETITION @ bishan park.. had to reach skl at 6.15... n i was JUST ON TIME. =) but SUM1 was late... tt BIG J. =X k wadeva.. tt's not impt. well.. we moved all the necessary equipment (poles, lashings, axe, jerry cans etc) onto a truck n we went to bishan park in a coach... reached there ard 8+. n once again, it was transporting the stuff to our designated areas... apparently both my arms were already so STRAINED frm friday tt i had so lil energy to carry the poles.. (on fri i even had difficulty sms'ing... ). carry a load of poles once is ok.. carryin 2 loads is juz manageable. carryin 3 juz left my arms weak n my back strained.. BUT 4 loads totally strained my arms n back.. tgt wif the constant knockin into my hip bone.. it was T.T...

n when all the laborious work was done, it was finally time to slack rest.. at first i was seriously slackin la... all the way frm morn till lunchtime... o but in between there was once which i brought the sec2s ard to take a look at the structures.. n we witnessed an ACCIDENT. it was rather horrifying.. there was this approx 3-4 storey high frame which slipped n fell, hitting 1 psn in the head. loads of blood frm his head, n he seemed to b shock(he juz stood there in a daze). seriously it was scary la...

den aft lunch, me n shawn juz started "working". lol. basically we were running ard to fill water, buy water/drinks, buy food.. n bishan park is seriously HUGE la.. even if it's not.. running accross it for 10 times will make it a long distance...

nth exciting.. only until late aftnn, when the competition events started.. tings got even beta frm the evening onwards... when it was the FINALS for the competitions.. results will b below.. heeheex.. aft the the results n stuff, we had to dismantle the structures, pack up n clear up.. n i witnessed a second ACCIDENT. a guy was crushed by a falling frame ard 4-5 m tall... it happened in the dark, ard 7++.. yep.. not sure wad happened to the guy, coz we were bz trying to dismantle our structure, rushing against time...

CARRIED the equipment to the truck n we headed back to skl. reached skl ard 9.45, did sum minor packin up n transferring of equipment, n HOME SWEET HOME...

PIONEERING SKILLS (tying a specified structure) - 1st / GOLD
guess it's coz if the accuracy in management
ROMAN CANONBALL (catapult) - 1st / GOLD
with a distance of 43.15m. 2nd team was 37+m. xP
LOGGING (choppin' wood) - 1st / GOLD
22s clocked by our HERCULES. XD
3-2-1 FLAGPOLE (erecting a flagpole) - got into the finals
CHARIOT RACE (race wif a frame) - consolation.

a long day filled with labour work under the scorching sun = a sunburnt body filled wif aches n strains all over.
