    The Procrastinator's Creed

    1. I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.

    2. I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.

    3. I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.

    4. I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect from missing them.

    5. I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.

    6. I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.

    7. I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesimally small, is not exactly zero.

    8. If at first I don't succeed, there is always next year.

    9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.

    10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.

    11. I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.

    12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.

    13. I will never put off tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.

    14. I will become a member of the ancient Order of Two-Headed Turtles (The Procrastinator's Society) if they ever get it organized.

now that's a big NO-NO to everyone out there, especially for those who are having the exams now or really soon.

    TKW is a LOSER. =P

had a meeting with part of my VLC ExCo earlier on. and our chairman was such a loser. shan't go into detail. anyway there wasn't much that we could settle, other than assigning jobs to people. well as usual, there were lotsa crap during our discussion, but i wasn't as annoyed by it. in fact, i found it really enjoyable. i suppose it's because i'm no longer the chairman, not the 1 needing to control the situation. HAHAHA! interacting with those bunch of guys just pleases me, i don't know why. =D and it's kinda sad that we'll most probably return to our normal lives and forget each other after the project is settled. dam it's making me feel emo. =\

ok fine! i know it's silly to feel emo over such dumb issues. just shut up!

i finally updated the playlist! like after 123456789 weeks. i've been missing so many weeks of 987 top 20 (both on Fri and Sun), plus the website is like updated once every month (or around there), so i couldn't really update the playlist. sorry! i know it has been annoying to hear "i need you boo..." the 1st thing you view this page. XD

wanna change my blogskin and url since who knows when, but i'm just too lazy to think about/find/do it. any kind soul wanna help? LOL! whatever!

skating today was horrible. i got a pair skates which were used in the wrong way, and the rows of wheels were tilted to one side. dam hard to skate, and it was painful la. only can blame it on my luck. something amusing happened during skating today. as we were skating past some overhead bridge, peter saw the l-o-n-g slope and had the idea to go try it out. me being a big noob, naturally declined to participate, and just watched the rest have fun. ok actually only peter and shihying were the 2 main players. lol. it started out with around 1/3 of the slope, going up and accelerating down. then peter the joker cum daredevil decided to take a step further. he was on to the whole slope. off he went, looking kinda steady, accelerating non-stop. then, as he was reaching the bottom of the slope... CRASH! ouch! he fell. turned out that he got himself a graze on his left elbow, and abrasion on his ass. it was dam funny when he said something like "i think my butt is bleeding" and pulled his pants up to check. XD oh oh! and when he reached Macs, he even asked "how am i going to wash my butt?". LMAO!

lunch at parkway. ciyi was trying so hard to stall time so that he could go for his cheerleading for as short as possible. lol.

i shan't expose his ugly side to everyone. i'm nice. =P

made my way down to NYAA Council today. it's at some place called central mall. the place is a maze i tell you. ok not really that bad, but you get my point.

so what do you think of when you come across the name "central mall"? to me, it should be a simple building containing a few shops and offices (since NYAA Council is on the 3rd storey).

anyway when i got there, i was stunned. there's like 5 buildings of central mall. =_= thankfully i took note that NYAA Council had the address 5 Magazine Road, so i narrowed my search down to 1 building. but still, that wasn't the end of my worries. i was at 1 side of the building, and realised it was an office, so i couldn't go up by there. i walked round to another side and found a flight of stairs. but when i got up to the 2nd storey, it just ended there. so i had to go down and walk to another side of the building. only then did i finally found NYAA Council. imagine a door that opens to a stairway leading to ONLY the 3rd storey. like ...

after submitting the reports, i walked back to The Central and explored the place. i love the place man. it's so quiet ('cause there's like very little people there XD). but sadly, most of the shops are catered to female customers. dam! owells.

went to SIM today to buy my textbooks. the weight/mass of just 4 books was enough to torture me. lol. heavy sia. and on my way to SIM, george (scouts junior) just had to be a lame ass and tried annoying me using yuquan's phone. =_= turned out i was kinda amused by his childish insults. XD

anyway back to buying books. saw a familiar face at SIM popular bookshop. i also don't know how to explain la. lol! so after buying my books i called up sockling and tried to meet her in NP. wandered around the area, but still couldn't find canteen 2. tried getting directions from sockling, but it failed. =_= finally i asked directions from this dude walking past, and he showed me the way to canteen 2. thankfully he was on his way to the library, so it was convenient for him to walk me to canteen 2. had lunch there, then we took mrt home. it was hilarious how weiwei was always made fun of. XD

being a big goondu, i alighted at tanah merah mrt and took 31 to VJC. YES I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE ALIGHTED AT BEDOK INSTEAD. met shawn and he passed me some NYAA stuff.

    home sweet home after that.

HEY! =D i'm still not attending sch yet. hahaha! XD but life's still busy, with scouts stuff and NYAA.

Friday went back to AHS for Scouts handover ceremony. no comments.

Saturday was kind of packed with activities. supposedly roller-blading at ECP in the morning, but then last minute i decided not to roller-blade. ('cause i was tired) spent my time napping in the cool sea breeze while the rest bladed to who knows where. after blading, we had lunch at Mac before rushing down to Mt. Faber SAFRA for a communications workshop. the speaker was really engaging, and the topics covered were interesting. the topic i found most interesting was body language basics. how you can read the actions of people and roughly tell what's on their minds. well the workshop covered more than that, but i won't elaborate. =P
at night, went for RI 01 scouts annual show - Ocean's 1. extremely similar to last year's, in terms of the format and structure. but last year's show was better. =X nevertheless, there were notable items for this year's show. especially the Venture dance. there's this 1 guy (obviously the main dancer) who was like whoa, HOT! *sizzles* here's a video of the dance:

just focus on that main dude. dam HOT sia.

oh ya! and another thing. RI 01 scouts are LAME. lol! last year lame. this year also lame. XD here's a lame video they played:

in fact, there are the previous years' video on youtube as well. go lol'ing over them. XD

    nothing much happened today. aww...

    dam!

life is starting to suck again. *sighs*

my school is like starting in 19 days, and i have absolutely no idea what to expect. many changes to expect. the 1 i'm fearing the most is the system and style of the education. plus the shift to "grown-up topics", everything just feels so... uncomfortable. =s and if i carry on thinkin about this, it will just sink further into topics such friends, lifestyle etc. etc.... oh gosh! STOP!

NYAA... it's seriously bothering me, especially after the responsibility of finding an organization to serve at had been put on me. like wth. i knew it was gonna be sh!t. argh! ok, honestly the task of finding the organization isn't that bad, but what i find difficult is making decisions for a group of people. sounds stupid huh? well that's the reality, that's me.

AVLC Project. so my ExCo has been assigned the Scout Guild campfire as our project. thankfully it's one of the simplest projects. and hell yea i'm oh-so-anxious to start and finish the project. but UNFORTUNATELY, obstacles just start appearing even before our first meeting. MYEs! rar! sadly, i'm demoralised by it. =( it's really sickening you know. it has to happen all the time. like ALL THE TIME. *rolls eyes*
all hope is not lost though. 'cause at the back of my head, i know that as the leader of the team, my attitude sets the team's attitude.
    i shall be positive.
    i will be motivated.
    i must be dedicated.
WE CAN DO IT!!! *screams and cheers*

oh i can't wait for another night with the lovelies.

and the picture that you see above... that was taken with the help of the friendly drinks stall uncle. don't play play, uncle dam "in" 1 ok. super funny! XD

    "so how's school?"
"standing strong. not gonna collapse any time soon i suppose."

    Huiling: yo dadddddddddd!
    YO! =DD

so i was at xiaxue's blog last night, and i came across this rather interesting section on The Monty Hall Problem.

    so here's the question:

Suppose you're on a game show, and you're given the choice of three doors:
Behind one door is a car; behind the others, goats.

You pick a door, say No. 1, and the host, who knows what's behind the doors, opens another door, say No. 3, which has a goat.

He then says to you, "Do you want to pick door No. 2?"

Is it to your advantage to switch your choice?

    Answer: YES!

well most people would say that the chances are now 50/50, and so switching your choice doesn't really make much a difference. but in fact, a switch should be made - it doubles the probability of winning the car from 1/3 to 2/3!

personally i didn't quite understand why (and due to my poor internet connection, i couldn't read more about the solution), and so i thought through the night about the math behind the problem. and finally today, after reading the explanation, i got it! =D

    read more here.

here's another simpler problem involving probability. i suppose this would be far easier to comprehend.

A shopkeeper says she has two new baby beagles to show you, but she doesn't know whether they're male, female, or a pair.

You tell her that you want only a male, and she telephones the fellow who's giving them a bath.

"Is at least one a male?" she asks him. "Yes!" she informs you with a smile.

What is the probability that the other one is a male?

    Answer: 1/3

read more here, if you don't understand.

    AVLC 2D1N Camp - Day 2
the first activity was SRIT (self-reliance independence test), which comprises of 4 stations.
1st station for my ExCo was the "milo" pond. (the name is derived from the colour of the pond) this was something that my ExCo had been discussing about since Day 1. there were 2 versions of the "milo" pond description. 1st was that it smelt like chlorine. 2nd version is the worse 1 - smelt like sh!t (odour can reach quite a distance away). initially i didn't want to slide in at all, but after some time, i just thought that it would be better to get it over and done with quickly. so there i went. *SPLASH!* turned out that the pond was odourless (or at least to me it was). the only horrible part was that my sand got into my shoe. how uncomfortable.
2nd station was about crossing a distance through swinging tyres. it was not as easy as it seemed. (lesson: in life, there are situations where no one else can be there to help you. you need to be prepared and learn how to go through tough times alone)
3rd station also about tyres, but this time it was about going through a tunnel made from the holes of many tyres line together.
4th station was climbing up a rope. the ones that u find at those physical fitness/training corners, just slightly shorter.
overall it was pretty much an activity on physical fitness, which kinda links back to self-reliance. (being physically fit is the basis of self-reliance, though there are also many other areas to self-reliance)

there were some screw-ups for the next segment. it was planned to have backwoodsman(BWM) cooking for lunch, but somehow the food caterer lost his way and was unable to reach Sarimbun. so in the end, BWM was scraped off and first aid(FA) simulation became a mass activity. and well, ExCo4 and my ExCo were i/c of FA simulation. lol. don't really wanna go into details about this, so i'll go over it briefly. most of the participants were tired and disengaged from the activity. even the hands-on was done without putting in much effort. i kinda expected that, considering that it was the last activity on the 2nd day, and it carried a more serious tone. owells.

area cleaning was SLACK easy for my ExCo. we were in charge of the field and multi-purpose hall(MPH). for some weird reason, another ExCo came cleaning up the MPH for us, so all we had to settle was the field. sweeping across the field and picking up litter that we found, simple as that. ok mainly it's because the field is not really heavily littered.

    closing ceremony
    DISMISSAL
photo-taking (why on earth is dismissal before photo-taking? 'cause that's a fake dismissal. XD)
    REAL DISMISSAL

    AVLC 2D1N Camp - The End. =D

very unfortunately, it started to rain when we were dismissed. so the 5 of us AHS ventures had to walk all the way out to the main road in the rain. T.T
took a bus to Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, then took the MRT to Woodlands, after which another bus to Tampines, and lastly transferred to a last bus back home.

    ExCo16:
    Justin (Montfort)
    Ming Hui (Montfort)
    Brian (Montfort)
    Thomas (St. Gabriel's)
    Jason (St. Gabriel's)
    Benjamin (Dunman High)
    Ranger (Dunman High)
    Jun Le (Anglican High)
    Kun Wei (Anglican High)

i really love the members in my ExCo now.(sounds gay, i know) =DD

    thanks thanks, i did. =)

    lucienne: hi junle!
    HELLO LUCIENNE! =D

    AVLC 2D1N Camp - Day 1
turned out to be better than expected. i'm not referring to the quality of the activities, but the lessons drawn from it. and most importantly, it really helped my ExCo to bond together. =D

dad drove me to Eunos MRT on Sat, approx 6.30am. waited all the way till slightly after 7am, before we got onto the chartered bus and made our way to Sarimbun. there was the usual intro, opening ceremony and welcome address, then we were allocated to our bunks. the A-huts were simply heavenly. ok it's not really great and comfy like some hotel room, but for a scouts camp, it was already considered superb. the room was clean, and there was more than enough space for all of us. =D

the next 3 activities were carried out based on 3 major groups. this meaning the whole camp was split into 3 sections to carry out 3 differnt activities concurrently. the groups then rotated among the 3 activities so that everyone had a chance at all 3 activities.

first activity we had was rock climbing. learnt the basics and had a chance at taking up the different positions. however, there was 1 position we didn't have a go at, and that was the belayer. (the Rovers were doing this part) when it came to my turn to be the climber, i only managed to climb around a quarter of the 7-storey wall. it was tough man. a lot of strength was needed from the fore arm, so much so that when i reached the ground, the muscles ached till the extent that i couldn't even hold onto anything properly. rock climbing seriously isn't as easy as it looks. it requires teamwork, strength, determination, skill and planning. now i fully understand why jiesi looks up to her pro seniors so much.

after lunch, there was team building games. this comprised of 5 stations.
1st station was hands & legs, a game where the whole team was supposed to travel a distance on a given no. of hands and legs. my ExCo took such a long time discussing that we were expected just to stay on the given no. of hands and legs for a period of 30sec. LOL!
2nd station was about balancing the see-saw and holding it there for a period of time. this was very fun because whenever we managed to balance, all of us would be be so tensed up, hoping it would stay balanced.
3rd station was kavadi (if tt's how it's spelt), a game where we had to protect a "VIP", but at the same time try to touch the "VIP" from the opponent team. to make things tougher, one has to chant "kavadi" continuously when in the opponent's area. (if not he has to return to his team's area) my ExCo won 1-0! after our first (and only) score, we switched to complete defence to protect our "VIP". LMAO!
4th station was about mass orgy travelling a distance on wooden bars. the "mass orgy" came up because the whole ExCo had to squeeze so closely together in one line to stay on the wooden bars. hahaha! anyway it was really HOTHOTHOT when we stuck ourselves to each other and tried to coordinate our leg movements
5th station was line-up on the low wall, a game where we had to arrange ourselves based on a given property (eg. name, birthday, height etc). lots of hugging when we were switching positions on the low wall. it was pretty scary too because there were many times when we felt like we were nearly falling off (during the position switching).
overall, the activities were pushing forth the idea of communication within the ExCo.

next up was raft building. we had to build a raft from the given materials and equipment. after which, there will be 4 people on the raft out at sea trying to get tennis balls. the activity kind of screwed up because the rafts out at sea couldn't really travel, so they took a really long time to collect the tennis balls and row back to shore. my ExCo was the funniest. the raft couldn't move at all. being on the shore, i witnessed the comical actions of how the raft remained stationary despite the intensive rowing. but somehow a miracle happened when the seniors shouted nevertheless, the concept behind this activity was about resourcefulness, how we utilise the limited resources given and make things work.

then there was the 1st mass activity (mass in the sense that the all the participants were playing this 1 activity together), tug-of-war. there were some misunderstandings, which led to my ExCo losing the very 1st match. =_= so the situation was like this. my ExCo was playing with another ExCo, and the score was 1-1. then when we were having the 3rd round, not knowing that we were supposed to pull the whole opponent ExCo across the line (the dumb referee confused us when he talked to us after the 2nd round), we started cheering when we pulled 1 guy across. the opponent ExCo seized this opportunity and thus we lost. it didn't really matter, cause the loss allowed us to slack and relax for the remaining time. x)

campfire was after dinner. worse period of time for my ExCo. apparently we did not use the prep time to prepare our cheer and performance item, so we were kinda stressing out when the campfire started. i totally blanked out due to stress overload. oops! and in the end we did a very typical cheer. the performance item was a combined 1 with ExCo17, and we scraped through it using the Scouting Light song. phew. we still managed to enjoy ourselves a little though, through the funny skits and the "who has _____?" game (this was mostly self-entertainment XD).

night hike turned out to be rather meaningless, imo. when walking out, we were supposed to carry 1 member from the ExCo for half the distance. (lesson: no one gets left behind) then when walking back, we were supposed to walk in a ring, facing out, for half the distance as well. (lesson: in a team, everyone has a different role so that things can work out right) well i do see where these activities are driving towards, but considering our fatigue level and mood, it simply didn't work out right. our minds were filled with only 1 thing - getting back to the A-huts and sleep. ok just picture 100+ zombies walking, now that's how it was. lol.

    supper...
lights out. couldn't really sleep. especially after the mosquitoes stung me on my neck, left elbow & the sole of my right foot. like WTH, the one on the sole of my foot was super itchy.

that's the end of Day 1. will continue with Day 2 some other time.

for now, it's time to watch "Heroes".

i went out today! not really exciting or fruitful, but at least i did something.

1st stop was VJC, to meet Zhan Yi and take a shirt from him. oh and also to have a look at his national scarf. too bad the scarf was too long, or else i would have bought it from him. i really love the new material. dang!

everything was done quickly at the entrance of VJC, after which i made my way down to TM. my purpose was actually just to collect my GV movie club membership card. sounds kinda lame but yea, that's it. i FINALLY collected it, 2 weeks after the registration. lol.

saw lotsa AHS people at TM. n to make things worse, i saw some people. *roll eyes*

    that's it i suppose. yep.

why the hell am i in charge of it?

my day has been too much of nothing to be worth blogging about.

    significant things that happened?

    let's see...

    1. running like a madman away from a bee/hornet/wasp that flew into my home

    2. screaming at birds to scare them off out of fun

    3. shrieking and running away from a cockroach

significant enough? even if it's not, that's the best i have. LOL.

here's a chain email i received. some points are kinda interesting...

    40 Tips for Better Life - 2008

    1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

    2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

    3. Buy a DVR and tape your late night shows and get more sleep.

    4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, 'My purpose is to __________ today.'

    5. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

    6. Play more games and read more books than you did in 2007.

    7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, tai chi, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

    8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.

    9. Dream more while you are awake.

    10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

    11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccol, almonds & walnuts.

    12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

    13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.

    14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

    15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

    16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

    17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.

    18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

    19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

    20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

    21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

    22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.

    23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

    24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

    25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'

    26. Forgive everyone for everything.

    27. What other people think of you is none of your business.

    28. GOD heals almost everything.

    29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

    30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

    31. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

    32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

    33. The best is yet to come.

    34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

    35. Do the right thing!

    36. Call your family often. (Or email them to death!!!)

    37. Each night before you go to bed comlete the following statements: I am thankful for __________. Today I accomplished _________.

    38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

    39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

    40. Please Forward this to everyone you care about. I just did.

May your troubles be less, May your blessings be more, May nothing but happiness come through your door!

    Chasing Pavements by Adele

    I've made up my mind
Don't need to think it over
If I'm wrong, I am right
Don't need to look no further
This ain't lust, I know this is love

But, if I tell the world
    I'll never say enough
'Cause it was not said to you
And that's exactly what I need to do
If I end up with you

    Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place
    Should I leave it there
    Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere

    I build myself up
    And fly around in circles
    Wating as my heart drops
And my back begins to tingle
    Finally, could this be it

    Or
    Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place
    Should I leave it there
    Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere

    Yea...

    Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place
    Should I leave it there
    Should I give up
Or should I just keep on chasing pavements
Should I just keep on chasing pavements

    ohh oh...

    Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place
    Should I leave it there
    Should I give up
    Or should I just
    keep chasing pavements
    Even if it leads nowhere

haha! thanks thanks. i'm hoping real hard (as hard as diamonds) tt tings will turn out good. =s eh... i think all the songs on my blog are nice! xP

lack of updates. yea i know. reasons mainly being:
    1. no mood
    2. no time
    3. my dumb comp keeps restarting/blacking out by itself

    updates since Thursday...

    Thursday
went out alone to the John Little Sale @ Expo. just walked around, didn't buy anything there cause i wasn't willing to spend $$$. lol! after nearly 1 hour there, i made my way down to Parkway Parade for the Isetan Sale. There, i helped my mum get some stuff, while at the same time fulfiled my desire to shop. =DD i finally got myself a pair of sandals! woohoo!

    Friday
went back to AHS in the afternoon, to get some certs signed by Mr. Tan. oh oh oh! i wore the TJ Dance concert T-shirt back! cool yo! x) Ci Yi came at around 4 to collect the NYAA Silver booklets. we sort of went around to kajiao the juniors, and we found out some big news. =O i shall not disclose it here. wahaha!

    Saturday
slept at 3am in the morning because i had to settle AVLC matters and pack my bag. didn't really catch much sleep 'cause i had to reach AHS by 7am.
Chameleon's Challenge @ Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. i was under logistics, so all i had to do was to move equipment around from place to place. AHS got first, kinda expected since they were such chiongsters. haix... such a pity how they are so caught up with winning that they fail to enjoy the process. anyway the whole event ended alot later than expected, after that we were sent back to AHS.
rushed down to Plaza Singapura immediately after i alighted the bus. when i got there, we immediately started on the meeting. (to discuss on AVLC matters together with my group) fortunately, the meeting turned out better than expected. it lasted shorter than expected. =)
after the meeting, i made my way back to AHS. i thought i was late for the filming, but in the end the filming started nearly 1 hour after i reached. =_= there was a problem initially (we did not have enough goggles!), but i managed to get them from people living nearby (Thanks to Jeremy and Kam Hei. =D). everything was super hilarious, all the way from even before we began filming till the end. all the dumb jokes and funny incidents. i wish i could disclose on what happened during the filming, but i think it would serve as spoilers to people who may view it. aww... x)

    Sunday, Today
went to the cemetary to sao3 mu4 with my parents.

ok those are the more significant events that happened, all summed up. sorry ar, but i've got short-term memory, can't really remember details on what happened. moreover, i've gotta complete the proposal for AVLC like now. so also not much time to think back on what happened. hehe.

    bye.

to serve without expecting anything in return. =)

    Wednesday, April 02, 2008 | 10:49 PM
the online discussion turned out as expected.

somewhat near nothing. it was super unproductive.

but i'm glad we at least settled on something. phew. at least we started.

i shall just carry on hoping that things will turn out fine eventually.

yes, HOPING. taking any action proves futile.

    | 4:52 PM
i'm praying hard that the online discussion later at 8.30 will be productive. =s

this whole thing is such a TORTURE. ugh!

To all Employees: Effective January 2008

    Dress Code
    1. It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay raise.
    2. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay raise.
    3. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

    Sick Days
We will no longer accept a doctor's certificate as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

    Holiday Days
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday. Compassionate Leave This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements. In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

    Toilet Use
    1. Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles.
    2. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open, and your picture will be taken.
    3. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the "Chronic Offenders" category.
    4. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.

    Lunch Break
    1. Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.
    2. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.
    3. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.

Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience. Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.
