39th SC HANDOVER cum 40th SC INVESTITURE during today's assembly...

a great job done by the 4oth batch... dance was good...

ok i shall go into a lil details..

left class at 1.05pm n rushed down to PAS.. had a few dance practices till 1.45 ard there... then we all changed to our blazer attire in the PAS.. yep. IN the PAS.. guys on 1 half, gals on the other.. aft tt we had a "photo-taking session" lol.. informal shots n formal shot.. gosh it's our last time wearing our full blazer attire all together..

anw i had to wait at the side of the hall for my speech, while the rest stayed in PAS.. emcee screwed a lil when they forgot to invite all councillors onto stage.. yep but tt's juz a minor ting.. had my speech (hope i didn't "swallow" my words. =S) & invited my batch in.. felt a lil emo but i guess my mind was too focused on the attn given by the audience.

handed over the badge n we walked out.. sumhow it felt lyk only a minute la.. evrything was lyk ZOOM n it was all over.. HOWEVER, i can still rmb tt the PA turned down the vol during our walkout, which was lyk wth.. lost the impact la.. owells it's over..

rushed down to PAS agn n changed into our dance attire... sumhow, i dunno how, we juz dilly-dally n took ages to get completely ready... lol.. went up. standby @ backstage...

b4 we knew it, it was our dance... I DIDN'T SCREW THE 2nd CHORUS! =DD lmao.. coz during the rehearsals i tend to slide to the oppsite direction. XD hoped the dance was good.. anw hrd luhuan put up a "banner" to support the sec4s. haha.. rockx la.. =D

evryting ended, packed our stuff, then we hung ard in the concourse.. sum of the sec4s were giving little notes out.. gosh so saddening la.. officially handed over le.. might haf been our very last time tgt as a batch (hope there's farewell to bring us back tgt agn...).. mixed emotions.. both happy and sad... happy in the sense tt we finally get the chance to focus on our O's comletely.. but sad in the sense tt reality forces us to let things go.. it juz seems lyk suddenly evryting has ended n there's so much uncertainty on whether our batch will still remain tgt.. no matter wad, my batch has indeed given me many sweet memories worth remembering..

well i guess it's really only when u pause n finally haf the time to look back to reflect, u c the big picture.. it's only now when the load is gone tt i realize so many things.. i can stiu rmb liting tellin me this quote "A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd.".. n now then do i see the light in it.. honestly there were so many things that i was forced to give up/neglect/go against due to my position.. haix i guess tt's the main issue tt's makin me feel sad. beyond tt, i'm also very pleased tt i actually grew n learnt so much in terms of character and abilities.. okok i think i shud stop here, or the entry would bcum a speech liao..

to my batch: there had been so many mistakes we committed and so much that we've been thru tgt. but beyond all these, what really matters to me is the frenship tt we've forged. i truly treasure the times we had tgt..
additional: it's really been a pleasure to noe evry1 of u. n i sincerely hope tt we can kip in touch n rmb 1 another for life.. wish tt we can put up a performance tgt agn, for nx yr's founders day perhaps? =)
