my body clock's in a mess! haywire!!!


hike ended earlier today.. n i shall blog bout yest till today...

24/2 (yest)
unlike my prediction, i was not affected by the hike alot... the hike only came into my mind when the teachers gave homework.. hike n hw.. GOSH! so i din wanna tink abt hw anymore n juz left it in my bag aft receivin it...

so i got the msg tt we had to fall-in aft skl.. so i was rushin to pack up n stuff liddat... den when i got downstairs, i was the only 1 there.. went to find the others, in the end say dun need le.. WTF lar, waste my time!! coz i wanted to rush home to pack my haversack for hike.. n also catch sum slp...

got home, threw my skl bag down n went to pack my haversack... den i decided to go skl n slp... when i was in skl, i did not manage to catch any slp at all.. coz got disturbed by incoming sms'es n stuff liddat... so irritatin! so i juz laid in council rm until it was ard 4pm.. den i went to the den.. my fone rang, it was kun wei... hate him lar.. at 1st say he buyin bread, in the end ask me go down chang cheng n buy... freak lar! dislyk his attitude...


activity time! (24/2 - 25/2)
activity started at 5pm.. we had layout at the concourse... slack 1.. yar, carn rmb the minor tings we did.. all so crappy =X when it was time, my grp din even noe tt we could start finding the ckpts... lol my grp starting pt was lakeside, 1 stop b4 boon lay.. so we were travellin for a long long time on the mrt.. located all the ckpts during the journey, n planned the route for the 1st few ckpts... we reached lakeside mrt at 7.05pm, n our hike officially STARTED!

1st ckpt was sum trigonometrical stn... frederick successfully led us the the location. reached at 8pm.. but we wasted lyk ard half an hr tryin to find the markin for the trigo stn... in the end stiu cannot find, so the seniors told us to use another sign instead...

nx ckpt was a church near pasir panjang wholesale ctr.. kun wei was navigator... as we walked, frederick din c the cups on the ground, n kicked 1 of em over... den junhong sir was lyk starting to bcum scared, coz the cups r those use for offerings 1, summore it was at nite... den at 1 pt, we needed to walk tis narrow path within sum terrace hses.. it was dark n creepy lar... so when we got thru, we tot the church was near, but aft we set the map, the area was diff to the area on the map we tot we were at... den aft sum time, we figured out our location n headed to the church. so we walked for sum time n reached the ckpt at 9.56pm.. passed many churches on the way... yup, churches r creepy at nite!

nx ckpt was radin mas cc. i was navigator... n the route was longer than the 2 ones b4.. so i walked at my own speed n led the way... the rest were lyk complainin tt i walk v fast, n the y had a hard time tryin to catch up... they were either scuttling up to me once in a few seconds, or they wuld go "junle, can u slow down?" LOL.. but i tink i din walk tt fast ba... moreover, the distance was quite far n i din want to waste time..we walked n walked n walked... at 11.24, we reached the cc & our fatigue level was starting to get high... n the grp was sian diao, except me...

den nx ckpt was supreme court... sheng ya navigator... morale within the grp was droppin n we were beginnin to bcum walkin corpses... i was wide awake, but oso v sian.. reached supreme court at12.55am...

yup, so we carried on walkin to our last 2 ckpts... as we went on, our morale dropped n the fatigue level increased... we became walkin corpses... reached 5th ckpt(mountbatten fire post) at 2.38am... fatigue was very high n morale very low... den we headed to the end pt, which was st. andrew community hospital... another v long route for us... by tis time, our speed had dropped to v low.. walked v slowly n rested quite a few times in between.. me n kunwei were infront, deciding which bus-stops to stop n rest... reached the location at ard 4am.. we searched n searched, but juz could not find it... in the end, the end pt was changed to a police post near the hosp.. but we went 1 round to behind the hosp, so we had to drag our tired bodies back to the police post... reached the police post at ard 4.20...

den the hike officially ended.. (FINALLY! whoopee!) took a cab back to ahs... had debrief at 5.20 n was dismissed then.. but we(most of the scouts) slept in skl until v late in the morn... den shawn, ciyi, guodong, yihan, kunwei n me went to tampines mac to haf breakfast... came home aft tt.. reached home at 10am.. slept all the way up till 6pm Zzzz...

overall, the hike was ok lar... a new experience.. oso a learning experience... =)
